This is a non-profit event with all proceeds going to local charities. All prizes are donations from local and national sponsors. This event offers your company exposure to more than 200 athletes plus their spectators and fans.

The Al Johnson Telemark Race was first held in 1974. In recent years, local retailers have joined efforts to keep this historic race alive. The event grows in participant and spectator support every year. Last year, the race had record participation with well over 200 racers ranging in age from 10 to 62 braving the steep and rugged ski terrain.
